Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to have an internet connection but be unable to connect to MSN, Skype or any web-based messenger? I’ll tell you: it is very frustrating. It would take me around 40 minutes to download MSN Live Messenger. Meebo.com would load halfway and then just load, load and load without anything happening. It’s a bloody nasty slow connection we got here at this IT school. They should be ashamed.
I’m currently enduring a two hour long Physics class. Can’t you tell I’m a very good student … ?
P.S. It took me a good five minutes to load the “Write Post” page … o_O
Edit: Even worse! I’m stuck with using IE 7 because it would take ages to download Firefox
At least I got tabs … *runs away at the thought of using IE*

Seems one of my plugins caused the site to break havoc and take ages to load. It’s deactivated now though. And I see there’s a new version of WordPress out to the public, I can’t really bother with updating. I’m lazy, I know.
During the past days I’ve had a really bad cold — I’m quite surprised my brain hasn’t been sucked out yet from blowing my nose. Being the procrastinator that I am, I haven’t bothered with any homework either these past few days. Instead, I’ve concentrated on playing WoW. At least that gives me something to think about, making me forget the semi-constant itching in my nose.
It’s quite amazing how people you’ve never met “in real life” can make your days brighter, as many of the people I’ve come across in the guild <HWDW> do. Aah, the wondrous laughter that jokes and bullying gives. An awesome bunch of people in my honest opinion.

There is something peculiar about being back on the blogging scene — well, at least standing at the far back in the backstage area. I find it necessary though for two reasons: 1) My writing skills aren’t as good as they could be and 2) there are times when I have something to say. Alright, it may not happen all that often that I have something important to say, but this gives me a place to bitch and flame and simply laugh my ass off at different things and people. I expect I’ll be writing quite a bit of “World of Warcraft” related entries, considering it’s one of the few things that I devote any precious time to. Or any time at all, really …
This weekend, to my own surprise, I went to the movies and I watched The Spiderwick Chronicles. It’s a rather entertaining movie, although it’s far from superior to The Chronicles of Narnia. Freddie Highmore was the definitive highlight, he portrayed the two brothers brilliantly. (Then again, I barely know anything of acting. In fact, I know nothing of it.)
What kept the movie alive was the story and the slight “suspense” that came with it, I simply had to find out what was going to happen to that field guide! The bad guys are laughable: fat little goblins that bleed green slime and a giant called Mulgarath who is even more laughable. He wasn’t scary or intimidating. He. Just. Was. The special effects were rather neat though, thankfully.
I could flame and bitch about the sister’s fencing skills that were nowhere to be seen, but I’ll refrain from doing so as it will only make me feel disappointed again. Damn …
All in all: Enjoyable. Nothing more, nothing less.
What I’m really looking forward to though is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian ! I got shivers all over my shoulders and thighs watching the trailer! Oh, the music, the glory, the adventure, the heroism! Let me experience that life, damn it!
