‘World of Warcraft’ characters

Yep, I’m one of those people that play ‘World of Warcraft‘ and these are my to the world known characters.

Taashira

  • Level: 80
  • Race: Human (previously Gnome)
  • Class: Warlock
  • Specialisation: Destruction (Damage dealing)
  • Professions: Mining, Tailoring

Once created as a vicious little gnome, Taashira was the first character I created on my account (followed by a silly priest). I had good fun playing around on her in the Azerothian world. Exploring was an adventure on its own, never mind the leveling up! Leveling this character was actually fun. Everything was new, refreshing and interesting!

The weeks passed as I got her to level 70 and eventually got her into a casual yet proper raiding guild. She’s battled her way through Karazhan, Gruul’s and Magtheridon’s Lairs, Serpentshrine Cavern, Zul’Aman and parts of Tempest Keep, Mount Hyjal and The Black Temple. Along the way I found myself fiddling with druidism and with time I made the switch over to my druid.

Further on, it took me about half a year to get this poor little gnome to level 80. Weeks on end, I simply couldn’t get myself to bother with her. She was boring, uninteresting … and a gnome. Once the race change became available, I convinced myself it was worth the money to turn her into a human instead, and so I did. She’s now decked out in epics, same as everyone else playing this game at level 80, and I enjoy the (still not green!) fire spewing out from her.

Keldara

  • Level: 80
  • Race: Night Elf
  • Class: Druid
  • Specialisation: Restoration (Healing)
  • Professions: Alchemy, Herbalism

This is by far the most enjoyable character I have come across.

I love healing. It requires attention, in-depth knowledge of the fight, quick reflexes and smart decisions made on the fly. Okay, okay, okay. That was a lie. All of what I brought up only applies to the latest tier of raiding once you’re geared up. Pretty much. Oh, but even so! It’s captivating and fun and, and, and fun!

“Notable” achievements

Glory of the Hero: Alright, it’s not that amazing, but most were completed with a group with highest item level of 213 and most item level 200, except for Oculus — I despised the place for nine months because of a three-four hour wipefest on hc Eregos giving me a three day long headache. Hah. I still can’t do a 5xAmber run properly unless I get lucky though. (Yes, I fail. My boyfriend constantly reminds me of it.)

The Safety Dance (10 player)/The Safety Dance (25 player): One of the few achievements that are dependent of the stupidity and ignorance — or lack thereof rather! — of your entire raid. It’s not hard, it’s just difficult to achieve. Yah, there is a subtle difference there.

Ziiva

  • Level: 74
  • Race: Night Elf
  • Class: Priest
  • Specialisation: Discipline (Healing), Shadow (Damage dealing)
  • Professions: Enchanting, Inscription

This is my 5th priest created and the first one to make it past level 20. I had been silly enough to convince myself I wanted a draenei one. I was wrong, so wrong in fact it took me three draenei priests to realise it.

The versatility and wide arsenal of spells is what intrigues me with the priest class, and specifically the healing tools they have at their disposal.

To this day I can’t stand the Holy School of Spells being interrupted sound effect, which is a bit of a bugger.
